The Mystery of the Missing Five is the third episode of Seven Little Monsters

About[]

Irascible Four has to always look after his twin brother Five. But, when Five's behavior includes eating Four's favorite toothpaste and polishing his ankles with Four's favorite toothbrush, Four does the unthinkable and blurts out that he wishes Five had never been born. When Five seemingly disappears, the Monsters think that Five has gone to the hospital to "Give himself back!". The hunt is on, and Four learns that a pesky Five is better than no Five.

Trivia[]

  • There's a lip sync goof in this episode. As the monsters depart for the parade, we see Three saying, "We won't be home late." It's Two's voice that we hear instead of Three's.
  • Today, Three is Detective Sherlock Three.
  • The title card that generally says "Seven Little Monsters" instead reads "7 Little Monsters". A goof was most likely made and fixed in later episode prints.
  • This episode reveals that Three has green eyes.
  • Even though Four is mad at Five and makes him run away, he should've realized that without Five, the monsters aren't complete, just like One realized that when Six ran away in “Are You My Family?”.
  • It is a male version of “Are You My Family?” since Five runs away because Four hurt his feelings. It is the same as when Six runs away because One hurt her feelings.
